At Metron Capital, Alazar oversees all aspects of the strategic direction, investment strategy, deal sourcing, and capital formation. Through partnerships with multiple opportunistic funds, Metron’s investment arm has taken 24 investments from acquisition through exit. Metron’s asset management arm oversees $90M in workforce housing and single-tenant medical office assets.
Alazar started his career in commercial real estate at Grubb & Ellis Company and was a lead associate of the Multi-Housing Team (“MHT”), a team specializing in representing institutional and high net-worth individual clients buy and sell multifamily properties. Prior to founding Metron, Alazar co-founded and ran a Los Angeles based commercial real estate brokerage firm, LAINVESTORS.COM. As a managing director, his role was to facilitate transactions of commercial properties. Since the company’s inception in 2005, as of December 2020, Alazar and his team have completed over $500M in transactions of multifamily, office, and retail properties.
Alazar received a Bachelor of Science in Corporate and Real Estate Finance from California State University Long Beach and completed UCLA’s Investment and Real Estate Finance extension program and CORe and Alternative Investments programs at Harvard Business School. Alazar is a member of the Atlas chapter of the Young Presidents Organization.
